What were top, most searched keywords and terms in 2007? By analyzing these terms you could get an idea of what was very profitable niche last year and more than likely those are still very profitable niches today.
As the New 2008 starts tonight at midnight I thought it would be interesting to end the old year with top searched terms from Google.

If you did not know, Google every year puts out a year-end Zeitgeist report outlining the top searches and rising searches from billions of search queries. They have just just released the data for the year 2007. It’s kind of interesting to see what people are searching for and how it changes from year to year.

Here’s the top 10 rising searches and top 10 Fastest falling on Google for 2007:

Their showbiz search data is also kind of fun–it shows how most watched, most downloaded, and most enjoyed search queries for celebs correspond with their other news, events, and offline publicity .
